But unfortunately, a few weeks before we were supposed to launch, we encountered some problems, and the entire project basically died overnight.
When it happened, I was shell-shocked.
‘How could all of my hard work gone to nothing? How could I have spent 4 years building something that will never see the light of day?’
Needless to say, I was pretty crushed.
But after a few days of self-reflection, I realized something…
I realized that I didn’t want to give up.
I realized that building a backpack is my dream, and if I wanted to reach my dream, then I would just have to start over from scratch and build the damn thing myself from the ground up again.
No excuses. No delays. This is something that I want, so I will stop at nothing to make it happen.
It’s truly as simple as that.
But then I asked myself…
‘Who can I start this new backpack company with? Who do I know that loves gear and backpacks as much as I do and would help give me input on the entire process?”
I thought for a while… but then, it hit me.
You!
Yes, that’s right, you! You love gear!
You, and everyone else in the amazing Nomads Nation community.
Then, everything hit me like a sack of bricks…
‘Holy crap. This community has already been so amazing. I should share this journey with them and make them a part of the process!’
And that’s exactly what’s going to happen.
