Updated Tech Pack (Feb 6, 2023) 👇🏼
These are the most updated drawings of the backpack (aka, the Teck Pack)
This is the backpack by itself (17 liters)
This is the backpack expanded (21 liters)
Updated back panel! It's going to have heavenly comfort and ventilation
Water bottle holder - 100% waterproof and conveniently accessible from the outside of the pack
Internal organization of the backpack - just enough pockets but not overkill
Same with the sling
The current connection between sling+ pack = fidlock magnet galore
Swivels on the shoulder straps for ultimate comfort/carry-ability
The backpack is a typical size for a 17 liter
The sling is a bit bigger so it could accommodate an iPad and more gear
Combo-licious!
These shoulder straps will feel as heavenly as they look
Same with the back panel - I'm all about comfort with my packs
Added a back panel on the sling for extra comfort + better connectivity to the pack
Fully morphed and 3D
The hidden back panel pocket, maybe a bit big, but worth testing out
These swivels will help so much with quick access while wearing the pack
Backpack pocket specs
Sling pocket specs
Water bottle holder specs
These are the cuts
The devil is in the details...
Sternum strap will be fully removable AND can be stowed on a single strap when not using
Primary external materials will be 840D ballistic nylon + matte PU coated ballistic nylon
Inner materials will be nylon as well for ultimate durability
Good webbing is crucial for the build of the bag
Reppin for Duraflex and Fidlock
Magnets and backpacks go together like tacos and tequila
Padded enough to be comfy and keep its shape, but without adding too much weight
Minimal branding is the name of the game
Also meet the new potential brand name - Fyro
Custom made hypalon zippers that can also lock for ultimate security
We might brand these guys later down the line
The smaller zippers are currently not lockable
Metal matte black = premium feel while also being subtle
Branding dimensions
These Fidlocks are expensive, so we wanted to make a pull-tab that feels on par with them
This hypalon loop is great for external carry (glasses, carabiner, etc)
Wait... what?
Final surprise, we have a Version B!
We are considering a few options with this version, all of which I'll announce later down the line 🤫

Original Design Reveal (Nov 8, 2022)
This is a deeper look at the drawings of our 3-in-1 carry solution. Swipe to take a look and read the captions for more insider information about our design choices 👉🏼
The 3-in-1 combo in all its beauty!
Some of the features I am most excited about are the magnet lid, swivels on the sling shoulder strap, and the unique side/top handles
As excited as we are about this project, we are VERY aware that the biggest challenge we have is figuring out how to connect the sling to the pack. We are currently evaluating many options for the first prototype, this being one of them
We have decided to go with version B
We have chosen to go with version B
We have decided to go with version C (yes, the water bottle pocket is currently an inside/outside solution 😬)
Currently aiming for the expansion for be 7 extra liters of storage, meaning that sling + pack + expanded = ~27 liters
Going back and forth on which one to choose, leaning towards version A
It has been brought to our attention that the back panel looks like a vagina, so we have to redesign it 😂. Updates coming soon
This organization layout is a bit outdated as we plan to do something a little different. I'll try to add the new drawings when possible
Most of the sling will stay as is for the first prototype (except for the vag-back-panel)
We have made some slight changes to the sling interior layout, but it will mostly stay the same for the first prototype
To keep costs low and things moving quickly, the materials we choose for the first prototype will depend on what the factory has available. Once we get further down the sample line, we can start looking into ordering our "dream" hardware
